Ritual Space

In this interactive installation, the public enters into a sacred atmosphere and steps into a ritual space enriched with the light and sounds of colossal totems.

The ritual sculptures have a life on their own by playing background sounds and breathing a steady light when no one is interacting with them.

The guests can experience the visual and rhythmical ritual designed by the sculptures's artists once they start a playful interplay with their own body. When a totem is touched by a user a series of synchronized percussive sounds and lights come to life from within the sculpture.

When the user physically interacts with the art work, the sculpture comes to life shooting a series of synchronized percussive sounds and powerful illumination patterns.

The sounds created by the participants fed the background tempo and instruments creating a melodic and ritual soundscore.The created melody is completely in synch with the breathing light of the sculpture, bringing to the interaction an emotional visual and sound ritual experience.
